The very first one - the diver and the statue, is either taken from a buzarre angle with a fish-eye lens, photoshopped or mis-labelled. The San Fruttuoso statue has arms much more upwards than that, is much smaller, and is on a conical plinth.

Is it lens and perspective, photoshop, or another location?

It's just perspective. This is shot from above the left arm (sort of looking down the length of the arm) hence the foreshortened perspective. I's different which is probably why it's in this collection.

Some of those are pretty amazing. I think the Taiwanese and Colombian ones are my favourites and the most striking, but for some reason the Sarajevo bob sled track is almost shocking.
