It was mentioned at last night's Peak Area meeting that there have been a spate of break-ins at Stanage, especially Hook's Car (Popular end) parking. One on Saturday, 1 on Sunday, and 2 on Monday in the last week alone.

Don't leave anything in your car if you can avoid it, and leave the glove compartment open and obviously empty.

In reply to Alan James - Rockfax: Yes, thanks. A perennial problem, but everytime it goes quiet for a bit I relax and one day it'll bite me on he arse. Wonder if Derbyshire police have a bait car they could be persuaded to use here?
