Liquid electrical tape for marking gear?

anyone got any thoughts on or eperience of using this to mark carabiners and wires etc.?

I use Beal rope marker, works good on I beam carabiners. Not sure about high wear places.

I suspect it's not all that dissimilar, dries into a hard rubber like coating. Only comes in black.

looks like expensive nail varnish to me! Easier and comes in more colours.

When I started climbing someone told me to use nail varnish. Imagine my surprise when I went climbing next, and nobody else was wearing any.
