garage band for apple.

hello all

just trying to find out if there is a differant version of garage band that can be used for other devices.

can anyone help please.

There's mobile and tablet versions, but GarageBand is Apple OS only so not available for Android devices.

I know GarageBand a little, but use Logic myself. I'm not sure what other mobile apps do a similar thing.

For Windows there is: Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper, Ableton Live Fruity Loops, Sonar and Reason. These are all audio/MIDI sequencers (or DAWs as they are now called). There's probably others too, but they all do basically the same thing.

Yes, you can import stems. Just treat them as audio files, the software doesn't know or care about the audio content it's self.

Exporting is just the usual bounce process.

Just as I suspected its the way we normally get round cross os/cross daw projects. Also find this often gives us great opportunity to use the strengths of different daws
