I had a bit of a slip coming down off Harrison Stickle on Saturday afternoon, ended up breaking my arm/wrist.

I was lucky enough to not only have my partner with me, but also the assistance of three couples who together gave me the necessary hugs, wrapping up, humbugs, coffee and assistance in getting off the hill.

Unfortunately I cant remember the names other than the ortho specialist Helene! But i know we had a couple on a birthday weekend away (geography teacher), and another couple navigating the best way down.

Anyway, just in case you hang around here sometimes, i would like to say a big thank you for the help, support and keeping our spirits up!

Thank You

Wendy

I'm not one of the people you're thanking - but wishing you a speedy recovery anyway - hope it doesn't put too much of a crimp on your winter plans

I was constantly reassured that 'winter' doesn't really start until January, so hopefully i'll be back on form for then, although maybe not in full ice axe swinging mode!

thanks for the positive vibes too!

Where did you slip? I also came down via the Stickle on Saturday afternoon.

Either way, hope you have a speedy recovery.
