Drop in anchors in brick.

Got a ginnel that's approx 8m length by 3m height.

Want to put a traverse wall in for the little lad (and quite probably I'd have to have a go too!).

Anyone any experience of drop in anchors in brick? The building is early 1900's build. Ginnel is enclosed and not exposed to the elements at all. Idea would be bolt ons.

I've got the tools and a fair amount of nous re: DIY.

Any other options or advice most welcome.

Cheers

I've drilled and bolted brickwork. The secret is to find out whether the bricks are hollow or not. If they are you need to drill a practice hole to avoid the hollow bits - obviously.

Good point. Unless houses were built with combinations of hollow and solid I'm pretty sure these are all solid brick.

Should be ok then with the bolt directly in the centre of the brick.
