I just got a pair of Salopettes back from Scottish Mountain Gear. They seem to have done a very nice job on the repair. It's visible, but only if I look for it

Very recently Excellent job had it back in just over a week
Reasonably priced to. All good defo use them again if the need arises
Repaired my wife's Pod Black Ice after I'd hauled it up Stanage in a bid to escape the midges - a beautiful job (and got me out of trouble!).

Conversely they quoted well over twenty quid plus postage to fit a shoulder strap to one of their old holdalls: More than buying a new lomo one!
Fitted one myself in the end.

Think I was only £8 postage I handed it over to
My mate in Cotswolds

Blimey! That's a good price. I suspect mine was more a case of "we're too busy, quote a daft price to put him off"

I've used them for years and their workshop is near my office. Top folk who always do an excellent job.
