Vapour Rise Guide Pants. -Two way zip?

Just got these trousers, and they are great, super comfy to walk and climb in. Cant fault them at all.

Just wondering what the point of the two way zippered fly is, especially as I have the womens version,
Anyone found a use?

If your a man, even wearing the women's version if that is what your preference is, and have a rucksac on, it would help!
