I am soon to sit my SPA assessment and want to have all my own kit for doing so. Any recommendation for the best biners for setting up releasable abseils on.. Not bothered by weight as they are unlikely to be in my personal rack

DMM Steel Boa, overkill for light users but ideal if you're using it a lot

Try and have a few different types of screw gates. Think of things like; what type would you prefer to use with your tied off italian hitch, perhaps a hms? for rigging you might wanna have a few small d-shaped screw gates...

Best thing is to get out and do it, or just rig up the furniture... by doing it you'll find out what you prefer to use where
