Sore palms comes hand-in-hand (thank you!) with climbing; I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with creams, lotions or potions to rub into your hands after a climbing session to help soothe and protect the skin?

Cheers

I use Oilatum. Greasy as heck but cheap and does the job.

neutrogena red for the hands, tip juice for finger tips.

only really get pain in the palms when training endurance - lots of steep moves on larger holds/jugs. Mix up sessions and try something easier angled with smaller holds maybe?

Also, on a lot of climbs with larger holds you don't need to put all your hand in there, by open handing and dragging you can use a different part of your hand. This can use different muscles too, giving you a slight rest.

What they said ^^

Also, the climb on blocks you get in little tins are good. They seem expensive but last absolutely ages. I'm almost to the end of one now and can't remember buying it.
