Supplementing climbing?

Ever since I stopped doing jujitsu and running, and started climbing, I've noticed that I've also started to put on weight. Not that this is much of a problem as I am quite slim but it does make me wonder if I should be supplementing my climbing with another activity that burns fat (not sure how good climbing is for fat burn - for me the problem is always technique, but never my aerobic endurance or weight), perhaps something like running or cycling. I also get out into the hills about once a week or so.
At the moment I climb upper F6s and boulder V3-4. I notice that this is great and improving my strength, but I never get 'tired', never out of breath or 'spent', like I feel after a hard run (apart from my arm muscles!).
So my question is is this simply because I am not climbing hard enough or long enough or should I be supplementing climbing with another sport?

In reply to Dirhaelar:

You don't have to do a fat burning activity if your diet is spot on.

Some do, some don't. Look at Dave Macleod going for enormous runs in the mountains before breakfast to burn fat.

HIIT (eg sprints) is huge for burning fat, if you're up for it.

I wouldn't bother climbing to burn fat - just climb to improve.
