To many, the Baroness from The Sound of Music but for me she is always Leonor from Scaramouche and Zosch Machine from The Man With The Golden Arm. Three Oscar nominations for Best Actress! I might have to treat myself to some of her films that I've not seen.

She was 91. Pneumonia.

She outclasses everyone in that film. She has the best gowns, the best poise, the best character development arc (re: the second line quoted above), AND doesn't stoop to singing a song (see also: Marion Cotillard in "Nine")

And she was a lot hotter than Andrews at the time!
