/ bob graham roun winter record

I just wondered what constitutes winter for the bob graham round, winter climbing needs snow etc, does a winter attempt not also need snow on the ground. I wish to congratulate the bloke but would he have able to complete the round given last years conditions etc.

I've linked to the club pages on the other thread but it's basically 1st Dec to 1st March. A bit arbitrary but not really any different to the definition of alpine winter.

Conditions do vary massively but you are more likely to get snow cover etc. during the above dates.
