Any recommendations?

I'm after a Christmas present for someone who goes camper-vanning and gets cold feet. There seem to be a few things around but not from brands that I've heard of and information about what's any good seems to be a bit limited.

Budget is about £40, give or take. Warm is good but they don't need to be suitable for the Antarctic or anything. Reasonably durable and water resistant enough for pottering across to the toilet block on a campsite would be good as well.

Thanks!

I have a pair of the north face tent slippers, down. They are toasty!

Depending on foot size, eBay Mammut Bivuoac boots - pretty much excellent.

quite a few have soles that would be ok for going outside and they are a good brand.

Saw these last weekend and now desperately want a pair http://www.exped.com/en/product-category/sleepingbags/down-booty-wb-m €65 here, so might not be much over your budget. These were cheaper http://www.exped.com/en/product-category/sleepingbags/syn-booty-m but not as clever with the waterproof slip over on the down ones.

Sat with a pair of TNF tent mules on my feet now. Very toasty (probably too warm for in the house, but very comfy) Well put together and you can get away with the occasional outdoor foray if necessary.

Me too. Not too warm for our house! Love them.

There are plenty of insulated booties that use fleece, or fleece & thinsulate, or fluffy pile available pretty cheaply. Some have sturdy outers, and EVA foam footbeds. I saw some in TK Maxx last weekend, I think... aha: these, or similar

A bit over budget, but these are comfy, warm and water resistant.

Outdoor designs down booties - I'll let you do the web searching.

or if you know someone in or travelling to the States Sierra down booties from rei both fall in your budget and are very similar, Sierra having a slightly higher manufacture quality.

Though if I was buying again I'd get the exped down ones Toby highlighted.......

I have some ME ones, their fantastic.

Top Tip, if the soles are just fabric, pop some cheap insoles in them, makes them much more comfortable
