Well it seems appropriate that it is Friday the 13th that I choose to make my first conditions update of the year, when it is such bad news I have to share!

I can make this a very short update; there is no winter! Warm winds have stripped everything right back to square one.

The forecast is getting colder with some snow on Sunday, but also 100mph winds, so if you are packing to head north as you read this bring your mountain bike!

Looking ahead it is definitely more positive, from Sunday it looks like to colder air flow should stick with us for a good while, bringing significant snow before Christmas. I will update again as it arrives.
