/ Christmas Camping
If I can get my arse in gear and pack my rucksack.....
I might have thought about it if it cools, and settles down quite a bit, but today was horrendously windy and wet,.
My son-in-law came back in after his worst day at work in years ( Sky Engineer)
Will be in Cumbria boxing day in the van. Not quite camping but still
Camp derives from the French slang term se camper, meaning "to pose in an exaggerated fashion"
Not sure yet but maybe after a few drinks.... :-)
Well, I'll still be in my van...
I shall be, don't know where yet, but I like having Xmas to myself when the roads and the hills are virtually empty :)
Yep, field-testing the new Scarp somewhere in South Wales :-)
Well, maybe not camping exactly, but a spot of bothying will be in order...
Will be out after Christmas - not looking forward to the weather :( wet and mild.
I did that once. And I mean only once.
Heading for Skye on xmas night after meeting my family duties. Weather not looking great but looking forward to some mountains and peace :)
Traditional new year camp forest of Dean, Dartmoor, or black mountains, with a huge fire and plenty of grog.
