What's the best 'off the hill' kit you own? That piece of gear you throw on after a hard day in the mountains! It could be your snuggy ( probably the worlds most pointless invention or your north face tent mules?

I've got some down slippers but with proper rubber soles...they're awesome! I wear them everywhere, much to my girlfriends dismay...

Big wooly jumper and some soft cotton joggers, as well as my Sports Direct mug. Perfect combo.

Today it was my Help for Heroes hoodie.

Help for Heroes do some great ,comfy stuff.

Needed some r&r today after braving my mountain this morning .100mph winds were entertaining ,but energy absorbing.

I pretty much spend all my downtime in cheapo Decathlon fleece hoodies. If I am walking with a friend and we are driving to the hills rather than going on public transport I will throw one in the boot to put on as soon as we get off the hill. Laaaverly.

After a hard day at the crag, I like to get those hessian underpants off and slip into a nice sleek pair of wire wool briefs. As recommended by Chafe Magazine - for connoisseur of discreet discomfort.

I like my hot water bottle and blanket after a really long hill day to just chill out on the sofa mate.

My Mrs is my best piece of off the hill kit.
She goes shopping when I go off on a jolly. I get into a nice few bottles of cold beer.
Then she cooks my tea, normally a beef curry.
She listens to my dogs tale of the day, and is sympathetic to her.
Quick glass of wine , then into my hot bath with my favourite matey bubbles.
After that, she leads me by the hand, up to a nice warm bed to massage my weary thighs.
'Anything else that you need my dear, to make your day perfect'? She utters.

If only M and S did women
