Is a 'normal sieve' OK for using for removing flour lumps?

To get the lumps out of, that is, it's a wire mesh sieve with squares two thirds (?) of a millimetre across.

It's for making the sponges for my late Mum's Christmas trifle recipe...

A normal sieve if fine for that, can't think of a specific flour sieve.
