Sunshine and air clarity?
Bursts of sunshine. Visibility ranging from appalling or near zero in snow and cloud, to occasionally excellent.

Between 9 and 10 this morning in the Ogwen valley that description summed it up- a curtain of hail and sleet for 10-15 minutes with strong winds and poor vis. Then sunshine/blue skies and calm. Now the sky is darkening, wind increasing. There's only a dusting on the tops and the ground was saturated yesterday, slowly draining today.

MWIS is great for odd phrases. 'Any mobility widely impossible' (or variants thereof) is always a good one.

I like 'mobility will be tortuous' :)

.....but I don't like it in reality of course!
