I've had this for about a year now and noticed a few cold spots developing around the lower third. Anyone else noticed any problems with their own snowline?

Nope. Though I can't say I've used mine all that much, a couple of weekend trips and a week-long trip.

just out of interest, what temperatures have you used the bag in?

From +10C to -10C so far, on an Exped Downmmat UL, and used like a quilt at the upper end.
