Searching UKC and Guidebooks for inspiration, came across this:

Anyone done it? Any info? Worth a look as a day out on the journey back south?

doesn't look like anything interesting on the os map might be a good winter scramble rather than a graded route

Aye, that's what I thought, but someone's obviously gone to the trouble of "recording" it on UKC. Looks a bit more like "make your route up as you go" kind of ground I think.

Been up it a few times as a plan B when I've not been too happy with snow conditions in Y Gully. Straight forward snow slope with wee bits of rock dotted aboot, feels a wee bit steeper in descent right enough. Probably end up there or the Stob Binnein, Ben More combo from the south myself the mora.

iv always thought the gully on the east side of an caisteal looks like a possible grade i/ii winter route but got round to it.
