Hi all,

If you own a pair of ME Karakorum pants, what do you wear them over? I understand this will be situation dependant. I'm trying to work out how flexible these pants could be and different uses etc.

E.g. Would you wear them over a pair of softshells for Scottish Winter mountaineering?

Would you wear them with nothing underneath for Summer Alpinism?

Or would you wear them over a pair of thermal leggings for Skiing?

Yes. I have done all the combinations you describe

In reply to russtyg: Depends whether the previous version or current one since the current ones are quite a bit heavier and thicker.

Normally wear my montane terra trousers under them but I don't tend to run hot.
