Pity I didn't get a partner today... the plan (Northern Pinnacles of Liathach) really needed a rope and some gear, given which it would have been a good day out. But as it was--verglassed, windy, undependable ice, big exposures, and on my own--it took me no time at all to decide to run away.

Oh well, I've recced it for a return visit, bagged a Munro top, done some easy gullies, and finally visited Sgurr a'Chadail, which has been intriguing me on the map since I was six.
