Think I need a sleeping bag for Scotland. I already have a winter bag but my 3 season bag often leaves me too cold in Spring & Autumn. Looking for the perfect bag (OK, the best compromise) re weight, pack size, water resistance and temp comfort level should be around 0.C.

Willing to consider both down & syn and hoping not to spend more than £150-£200.

and if it comes in orange all the better

Any recommendations?

Pick three of those!

If it wasn't for no.5, I'd say get the lighter version of this http://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/review.php?id=3605 because it's a superb bag and very few touch it on small weight for warmth - but cheap they are not.

I'd say the Mammut Sphere spring because it's my favourite, but the price is a bit of a limiter for you , so in that case I'd suggest the Kathmandu Pathfinder.

Looks great but blows the budget!
