I found watching the parents of those lost incredibly moving and emotional. It was a very well made programme and very balanced. The lad playing the piano was in a cruel irony, playing Rachmaninov's Prelude. It seemed to add to the sense of tragedy and loss that last winter brought about. But, as his mum rightly pointed out, they were all dong something that enriched their lives, and that was uplifting to see.

A fantastic documentary. Moving, awe inspiring, insightful stuff. Well done Auntie!
In reply to John Rushby:

Yes - the parents' reactions were very moving. All in all an insightful documentary that took in the scientific and technical as well as the more poetic side of winter adventure.
