Skye Wall... one of the most stunning looking routes in Scotland.. Has anyone repeated it since Dave Birkett's FA?

SURELY a priority for the able..

In reply to JonmapDL:

It will only be repeated if you the 'able' can stack enough mats underneath it.

Me and my mate Tom are going up to Skye in June and he has pointed out that it hasn't had a second ascent yet. I am prepared to put this on our wish list, but because he climbs harder that me, it makes sense to let him lead it and I will second it, which I know is not the same. I recently made the much publicised early season ascent of Tumble-down Dick on Ravenscar although because of the conditions we felt justified in using two points of aid. When Tom and I complete this Dave Birkett route, it will have a certain symmetry because Dave came up to North Yorkshire last year and made the second ascent of an undisputed well hard "Moors" route. I will keep you all posted as to our progress.

Pretty sure it has not been repeated. Agreed, it looks top notch. Contender for a ground-up from someone?

Great line, but Dave B doesn't exactly rave about the quality of the rock!
