My brother in law has asked me to help him sell hi bike and I have no idea what sort of price he should be after.

Its 6 months old and as new, only done about 50 miles in total.

Where can I find what sort of price he could expect and also any sites where I could post it? Will do a premier post on here as well.

they are selling it for 700…try to get 550

you'll probably end up with 500 or maybe just a little less

Also worth having a look at the 'completed listings' section on eBay to get an idea how much these bikes have actually sold for in the recent past.

Looks like around the £500-550 mark then.

Any ideas on sites that I can use, will be putting ads on here, gumtree and loot but any other recommendations?

Can your brother in law can prove that he bought it from new (i.e. scan of original receipt)? There's a lot of bikes on ebay / gumtree that are stolen - if he can prove that his bike isn't (plus how old it is and that he is the only previous owner) then he'll have a much easier job selling it, and probably get more for it too.

Yes he has the original receipt, and all the guarantee paperwork.

he will be happy if he can get £550 for it and will probably take £500 for a quick sale

Id look around the 550 mark as others have stated. Good solid bike that I'm sure will last for time to come. Looks like a fairly good spec as well
