Mackenzies Highland Inn, Aviemore: anyone stayed there?

Comments? Looking at it as an alternative to the youth hostel, as only a few quid more. Looks fine, but no mention of drying room being only stumbling block.

It's a popular pub with lot's of locals/visitors. Not heard of anyone staying there though so can't comment on accommodation. It's pretty central in Aviemore so easy access to the shops/other pubs etc.

Cheers chaps. Read the Tripadvisor reviews and hence the post on here. As no-one has extolled it's virtues I'll go for the youth hostel!!

Have stayed there a couple of times, my only issue was noise from the bar at night, crap if you have an early start.
