I saw a photo recently and loved it. But cannot for the life of me remember where I saw it.

It is a black and white photo of shot from the back of a stage (possibly a theatre stage). There is a lone character standing in the middle of the stage with a guitar strapped to his back.
The stage is lit from the front casting a long shadow behind the guitarist

Can you help please?

Not sure who the guitarist is. Just done a lot of googling of Bruce but nothing has come up.

I trawled through all the Getty Images stock for guitarists photos and none like that came up. I'll sift through Alamy tomorrow !

Despite the vague (no offence!) description in the OP, I think I sort of can picture the image in mind - it all rings a bell - but this sadly won't help me to find it

I've been trawling the net all week with not even a hint of success. I suspect it's probably a print I've seen on a wall somewhere by an independent photographer. Pity because it's a brilliant photo. reminds me a lot of Johnny Cash or Dylan.

I know the photo you mean, but also can't remember where I've seen it. I was thinking Dylan/Cash too but not sure. Will keep trying to remember but don't hold your breath!

That's the outline I had in mind but that looks like a studio shot, I was kind of picturing something possibly set-up but in "existing stage light" and in b&W. Possibly in my imagination I had blended this and the Simonon pic!

Hi guys. Thanks for the continued effort. It's none of the photos show sadly. If I recall correctly it's an acoustic guitar and the handle (you can tell I'm not a musician) is pointing up.

Thinking about it, it is probably a very staged photo. The lighting was too good just to be a random shot.

Together we will find this shot.
