hi,

the flights for this dates are at 80£ return from Manchester at the moment, so if anybody is interested, thats a good time to go. I got some experience in winter hiking, (I did Ben Nevis on 30. december last year, snowdon..that was pretty easy) I would consider a guide, to split between the group, as long as it's not ridiculously expensive. (100-150£ per pers)

I agree with Doug, May is not a good time. In addition to that one week may not be a big enough "window" to allow for bad weather and acclimatisation and to be honest Ben Nevis is easy in comparison.

spoke to the guide in Chamonix, end of May to climb MB - only on skis and together with experienced people ...otherways you can forget it
