Does anyone know what the current conditions are like out of Aviemore currently?

I was thinking about heading up this thu or Fri from S.Wales and spending 3 nhts bothie to bothie if conditions allow?

I would say go to Nevis Range or Glen Coe if you want to go skiing. Much more snow and better terrain.

I wasn't intending on using ski centre rather park up and then head up lurchers gully on to the summit and ski out for a few days returning via Lairig Ghru.
