I'm not sure if I'm being really thick here...

I need to complete a safety training course before I can join a boat for a work contract. I have been sent an email with a link to a page on the company website, and have been asked to download an exe file and a folder with the course content to my hard drive.

Downloading the exe file is no problem, however there would appear to be no way to download the folder. Am I missing something something?

Help!!!

Open the EXE file? Or have you already tried that?

In reply to Dan Lane:

I've opened the exe file downloaded to my PC, it runs, but needs the content of the folder to do anything

On the webpage, if I click on the folder, it just opens up the folder structure. If I right click on it, there is no way to copy the folder to my laptop, only the links.

When you right click on the folder you don't get a "Save link as..." or "Save target as..."? When you open the folder structure does it say "ftp://" at the beginning of the web address (instead of "http://")?

Problem solved. Solution involved logging into the website page and downloading the folder in Windows Explorer
