Need help choosing new camera system.Second hand canon 5d 111 with 24-105 lens.Alternativly new Nikon d5300 with Tokina AT-X PRO SD 11-16 F2.8 IF and DX sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM.Used only for landscapes.so image quality the main theme of any decision.Thanks for any input.

I think the Canon camera and lens is vastly better than the alternative you're listing there. If you're picking up a 5d3 second hand for the same price you'd pay for a D5300 new, you've got an astonishingly good deal.

If image quality is your only concern get the 5d 2, its Full frame with good glass.

In my experience tokina and sigma glass isn't a patch on canon glass and full frame shoots cropped frame straight out of the water in terms of image quality any-day.

Iam currently using a 5DII with L glass, happy to miss out the 5DIII as v happy with results of the DII....and as its now discontinued, you can pick up some cracking deals on the DII, go full frame for defo.
