I'm looking for accommodation to sleep 6 people (2 couples and two "children") towards the end of February. It seems most static caravans are closed then. I've found a chalet at Braithwaite which sort of fits the bill:

Close to Keswick for the non-walkers (they can go shopping and eating), two pubs in the village for a well-earned pint (within walking distance).

Somwhere similar in Ambleside would also suit I guess.

Walking wise, I'm not fussed as we shall drive, but having a pub within walking distance for the evening is important!

Must also be warm for the non-campers/non walkers (my parents).

Any recommendations? I'm struggling, as I'd personally just stick a tent up!

As I say, needs to be family and walker friendly.

Cheers,
Martin

Looks nice but doesn't look like they sleep 6? Would be too expensive to rent two places.

No worries, looked good otherwise. Thanks anyway

Should probably add that budget is under £80 per night, the cheaper the better as it gives us more beer money. Like to spread the wealth and all that!
