I'm traveling from Bergen to Romsdal this summer to do some climbing, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good climbs between Mod and VS, preferably mountain routes, in between the two places to break the journey up?

One possibility for alpine climbing is Hurrungane in the western part of Jotunheimen, see "Klatrefører for Jotunheimen". Turtagrø is the most common base for this area.

Another idea is Sunnmørsalpene. The old guide book for this area has for long been out of stock, but there seems to be plan for a new edition, see http://www.iriss.no/web/PageND.aspx?id=10.

For sport climbing "Klatrefører for Sogn og Fjordane" contains most of the crags in the county of Sogn og Fjordane. There are also some single pitch trad routes in this.
