In this lecture, organised by the North East Mountain Trust, Manny will describe the high points (and some low points) of his successful 2009 round of all 219 Corbetts in 70 days, in one continuous journey by running, cycling and sailing.
Manny Gorman has been hillwalking since he was young and began running at high school. His first Ben race was in 1986 and he is still running the race annually, being awarded the Connachie Plaque a few years ago. In 1998, he ran from Ben Hope to Ben Lomond, the most northerly & southerly Munros, taking in 110 more along the way. In 2006, he ran the 200-mile watershed of the River Spey.
