On Friday night.

2 teams on Fiacaill Buttress, one looked like they were in Fiacaill Couloir and the others perhaps on the Seam.

Watching your torches go up and down and up and down gave me hours of interest whilst I was stoating about on me skis.

Hope you made it for last orders.

Don't seem to be getting any phone calls! Have you lost my number?

The plan was to get up at 5 so I didn't think that you would be interested! I'd like to climb nw ice next weekend if you are interested, but you may have to get up at 6!

Sorry, I read your post again and saw it said Friday. Today was a good day to be hung over. It was hard to see whilst you were climbing, roger led in goggles and both he and simon led with belay jackets on.
There are some huge cornices ready to go on the south side of the loch Avon basin. A pitch or so of the routes such as sword and scorpion have disappeared with the depth of snow in the easy gully down the side. I think that realm of the senses on shelter stone could go at II...
On the whole though, a great day and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I've never skied in ma nelly puff, however your "I was hungover in a bothy on Glen Etive" is something I can really relate to and fills me with a sense of belonging

Why wouldn't you?

There's no shame in getting out and successfully overcoming any problems you may encounter!
