Hi

Am after a recommendation for a 3-layer tough hardshell trouser with braces, crampon patches & an internal gaiter. I want them to be quite fitted (i.e. not super baggy like most hardshell troos) as I'd use them with spikes in crap conditions. I don't get on with eVent.

Thanks

ME Tupilak Pant should do the job, if you can afford them! I had a look at a pair the other day and they are very nicely featured.

I recently bought ME Tupilaks but haven't tested them yet. They are quite fitted but just the right amount. Of those that we a bit too fitted for my taste, Mammut Nordwand (VERY fitted, my normal waist size is 32 and even size 36 were what I would consider ridiculously tight) receive very good reviews. I also found Arcteryx Theta SV and TNF Kichatna to be quite tight.
