Best sport venues - Spain and France

Absolutely clueless - can you people tell me where the best sport destinations are in Spain (and maybe France).

Primarily interested in Spain - and which rock fax guide please ?

depends really on a few factors:
- what sort of grades you wanna climb
- when you wanna climb (summer, winter...)
- multipitch/singlepitch

I would personally recommend Siurana if you like technical climbing, Margalef if you like pockets

If you are limiting yorself to Rockfax areas then they pretty much cover themselves.

By far and away the most extensive and variesd is Costa Blanca. Costa Daurada is brilliant but much colder so not so good mid winter. El Chorro is the furthest South by a margin and is reasonably extensive - certainly for a week trip at a grade.
