I'm really loath to ask this question, but does anyone have any first hand recent experience of what the conditions are like. Ideally Glenshee/Braemar area but any news is good news.

I've read blogs and been checking mwis/sais.

Im off to Glenshee tomorrow but would have preferred Lochnagar, being a bit further east and even more likely to get the better weather. I'm just a little concerned about the Glenmuick road though

In reply to mcdweeb:
Plenty of snow above 600m with surprisingly bare patches below this due to the winds of the last month or so.
Very nice firm surface above 800m with a little breakable crust below this.
Massive cornicing about so some care required.
The usual circuit from Glas Maol to Cairn an Tuirc was great and plenty of ski tourists about.
The pistes and ski car park were mobbed.
