I heard the snow gates were closed at Glenmore today, does anyone have any first hand knowledge as to if it is likely to be drivable early tomorrow morning?

The road has been closed for pretty much the whole week due to drifting snow and high winds, closed again today.

the ski mountain guys are hoping to do an all nightwer to get the mountain ready for skiing tomorow as its a brief weather window, so the road should open some time between 6.30 and 8.30 i would imagine (if its not open before)

It's about a half hour walk up from the snow gates at Glenmore via the ski road or more scenically by the Alt Mor to Coire Cas trail.
We've been doing this as the 'walk to work' for the past six weeks!
The off road trail is actually a really nice walk and currently the snow in the lower section to the Sugar Bowl isn't that deep or tiring.

Out of interest why do you want to access the Sugar Bowel, if it is for Lurchers, in bad weather, I'd look at the map and maybe access the crags from another more sheltered route?
