I have been invited to the Alps this summer with a colleague. He intends to do some hiking around the Monte rosa area for a few days. He is taking short ski's to descend. My question is do you need specialised mountaineering/ski boots? Or is there anything on the market where I could clip my sportiva evo's in to? By the way I have never Ski'd before....
