I climbed the route shown in the link below today.

I think the large corner in the middle may have been from The Genie.
Is the route on the database on UKC?
Lastly, is the larger corner on The Genie the crux pitch?

Yes, that's the top corner of the Genie which is usually the crux, although the pitch to get there coming across under the magic crack can also be quite poky depending on conditions.

Looks like you started up Doctor Janis instead which is mentioned as an option in the Cicerone guide IIRC.
