Hello.

I have a dilemna....

I can go with Neilson and change country or stick to Bulgaria and go with
Crystal.

The reason is that Neilson do not do Bulgaria in March.

My prefered countries are Italy (Cervinia, Pila or La Thuile) and Austria.

What do you think I should do?

austria will be cheaper than italy once you are in resort. similar prices to the uk . with the odd exception like kitzbul, st anton. cervinia is a high resort that can suffer from high winds.

I don't think it really matters who you go with, unless you are really bothered about the apres-ski. All the major tour operators will get you there and get you sorted for lessons/kit hire/lift passes/accommodation with varying degrees of inefficiency. I would pick the resort you want to go to and then go with whoever can take you there.

I don't think Bulgaria has had much snow this year though (or at least not in Bansko), so I would aim to go somewhere further west - the Alps seem to have had plenty of snow this season.

When are you going? I just booked with inghams for Austria on a late deal to a high resort 4* hotel. Loads of snow. £349 each!

From my recollection I think Austria (apart from St Anton) is cheaper.

We're going to Kuthai on the 1st. Did you watch "the Jump"? We were there for the filming too earlier this year. It will be our second trip there this year. You're a bit early for the best deals if you're not going until 8th but any high resort in Austria will be OK. We've been to Obergurgl / Hochgurgl, Kuthai (again), Axamer Lizum, Hintertux and they are all great due to the altitude.

I kept meaning to book a 1:1 session at a Snowdome but at the end I fid not.

I decided not to go skiing this year.

A lot other stuff happened like with the London Mountaing Club and possible meets.
