A discussion lead to tears last night which got me thinking, some people really do believe, not just think, but believe entirely that those gone before us are either still around in spirit form or have returned in another body.
This ended in my friend, (yes she is very highly strung and emotional)breaking down in tears last night as I picked holes in her ideas that her mother could not be here and if she was then how could she possibly know if she had no evidence.
You might think this was insensitive of me, but it really wasn´t, I was empathetic (if that is a real word) but genuinely interested in what she had said when she spoke about looking to her mother for guidance, when her mother died 20 years ago.
I know religious people tend to have faith, not belief, bt she really seems to believe without possibly knowing.
