Hi, I am planning a trip to the Alicante area in South East Spain and was wondering if people knew of any good spots for multi pitch around there I've never been. Trad or Sport 5-7b I don't mind if they are good routes..

Costa Blanca Rockfax guide is a good place to start.

There is loads and loads. Any of the Rockfax guides (even older ones) cover the ground. Penon rising above Calpe is fantastic; Mascaret Gorge near Calpe also has some great multi-pitch; Puig Campana is stunning, but there is multi-pitch virtually everywhere you look. Plenty of single pitch sport as well. Have fun

Cabezon de Oro; El Divino; Puig Campana; Ponoch; Penon de Ifach; Vall de Guadar - all have excellent routes

When are you coming?

We have started work on a miniguide to what we think are some of the best Trad Multipitch routes on the blanca, maybe 20 or more routes spread out around the coast and mountains all detailed in one place

Most will not be in the Rockfax, as good as that is, it is only selective.
