Nice photostream you have there.

The panoramics from Win Hill are hand held (usually portrait). RAWs processed in LR5 and exported as TIFFS and stitched in AutoPanoPro3.

This one is 9 images and measures in at 23,162 x 5340 (124MP)

We had bivvied on Holyhead too, which was cold for me (inadequate gear) and too warm for the others (over-the-top gear)

I like the composition, maybe improved if the bottom of the cog was included?

In terms of colour maybe it would benifit from some split tonning to add more interest or black and white?

Overall a good image I would say.

They are slowly spreading through hertfordshire. Damned things only ever turn up when I have the compact rather than the DSLR with a long zoom.

This is a 9 stitch panorama of the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford from the Church of the Virgin Mary tower (well worth the £4 if you're in the area). A pig to get it reasonably proportionate (much helped by the new tools in CS6). I am pleased with the final image.

CC PS now has perspective warp which is very handy for this kind of image if you don't have access to a TS lens, think there is a perspective crop in CS6 too.
I was up in Glen Clova last week.

Walking conditions were excellent but my lens kept getting appallingly dirty due to the spindrift;

What make and where did you get it? (I've been considering one recently too)

Couple from my local crag at the weekend:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/70132285@N07/13967248233/
https://www.flickr.com/photos/70132285@N07/13944185091/in/photostream/

I've always wanted to get a shot of someone on this route ('Omerta' F7c at Dumbarton Rock) but it's very very rarely climbed, despite being an outstanding arete line) Then on Sunday, a friend decided he'd give it a try and got it in a session in stunning weather.

In reply to Fraser:

> What make and where did you get it? (I've been considering one recently too)

I got a Tiffen filter (see http://www.tiffen.com/displayproduct.html?tablename=filters&itemnum=67N... ) from Amazo0n; it's available through other shops too. I went for a screw-in one rather than a Lee/Cokin type because I'll mostly be taking longer exposures with my normal lens (equivalent to 28 - 108mm) and I've found that I get some vignetting at the longer end of the lens' range when using a filter holder. Hopefully this will sort it.

For me the best is 'font night climbing 1'. I think the composition with the tree and the boulder is more pleasing and balanced in the frame. Saying that, I prefer the light trail in the number 2 the most, probably as it is a little darker.

In reply to ChrisJD: Having spent last week in Cornwall, I have a bucketful of pictures I haven't processed yet. However, this one...

https://www.flickr.com/photos/8411024@N08/14142952803/

...was an experiment, trying to reduce the number of things in a picture and still make it work. Yes, I have much to learn and no, it isn't a great shot but nevertheless, I am quite pleased with it for a before-breakfast wander round a friend's garden with a camera.

I have been trying to work on outside shots with the less-is-more idea for a little while but without a great deal of success. I need to get out more, and see fewer things.
