Best time to visit wye valley / symonds yat?

Hi there,

I'm looking to go to the wye valley for some trad this year, i've looked around the internet but I couldn't find any recommendations for when usually is the driest time to go. Anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe I should have been clearer, I'm 3 hours drive away and would like to plan a 3 or 4 day weekend to go there, I'm just wondering if there is a time of year thats generally regarded as being fairly dry there, e.g. february in the peak (most of the time)
