Trad courses

Ive been trad leading for about 18months & doing very well my onsight is hvs, i have a friend who is also interested in Trad but wants to do a beginner course before he leads he has seconded me alot (placing gear for practice). I figure i could do with some trad improvement course too.

can you get combined courses? (im guessing not).

any recommendations? He is Telford based & i am Bristol / Stafford

Try http://ascential-climbing.co.uk Been out with them a few times. Very knowledgeable and really nice people. As others have pointed out on here that there website isn't the best but I really wouldn't let that put me off. They're climbers and that's what matters. Don't think you could go wrong.

In reply to Os_878: Any experienced Mountaineering Instructor would be perfectly happy to run some bespoke training for you. With two students, a difference in ability/experience will not be that much of an obstacle to worthwhile instruction.
