Hey up,
On average over the last 11 years we've been here the Bedoin side is usually rideable by early to mid April with the barriers 1.5km above Chalet Reynard being opened to the public by the first of May.
This is however pretty random, the station on the summit is manned and occasionally they clear a small channel through the snow for service vehicles when needed - they also have a snow cat to drive down to Chalet Reynard.
The Malaucene side is closed at Mont Serein and the last 5km of this way up is currently a really cool green run with between 80cm and 3m of snow on it. I'd be surprised if this is opened by the first of May but we do have some warm weather forecast for the coming days so who knows?
I think this has been the heaviest snowfall this winter for quite a long time.
On the plus side - the crag at The Groseau is dry
